{"id":10679,"date":"2023-11-08T14:35:24","date_gmt":"2023-11-08T03:35:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/maser.com.au\/service-assurance\/?p=10679"},"modified":"2023-11-08T14:39:13","modified_gmt":"2023-11-08T03:39:13","slug":"maser-awarded-contract-with-ska-observatory-for-installation-of-emite-reverberation-chamber","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/maser.com.au\/service-assurance\/blog\/2023\/11\/08\/maser-awarded-contract-with-ska-observatory-for-installation-of-emite-reverberation-chamber\/","title":{"rendered":"Maser awarded contract with SKA Observatory for installation of Emite Reverberation Chamber"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Maser are excited to announce that together with our partner EMITE OTA test systems, we have been awarded a contract by the SKA Observatory to manufacture and supply a reverberation chamber for the SKA project in WA.<\/p>\n<p>The SKAO is a global observatory that is building and operating cutting-edge radio telescopes to further our understanding of the Universe.<\/p>\n<p>The SKA telescopes will be extremely sensitive and designed to detect faint radio signals from space.\u00a0\u00a0All electrical equipment must be tested to verify that it does not \u2018leak\u2019 radio waves that would impede the detection of these signals from space.
