Each year, Master Electricians Australia recognise businesses and individuals contributing to and succeeding in the Electrical Contracting Industry. Maser’s turnkey solutions partner Laser Electrical Granville, was nominated and won the NSW Energy Efficiency Project of the Year 2017 late last year for the successful Intelligent LED installation for the Costa Group warehouse at Eastern Creek.
Laser Electrical and Maser worked seamlessly together on this project to provide the supply and installation of the Digital Lumens Intelligent LED lighting system. Maser and Laser Electrical were able to install over 200 LED high bay lights as well as SiteWorx, a cloud based intelligence platform which together have provided Costa’s warehouse with the capabilities of a next-generation smart building.
Overall results include increased lighting levels, 85% reduction in lighting energy usage, zero maintenance costs and the ability to make changes to the entire facility at a click of a button. SiteWorx has also given Costa the option to add Temperature & Humidity Sensors, Power Monitoring Management, Zone-Based Building Security System and Space Optimisation Insights all through the Digital Lumens exclusive platform.
